Computer Society of India formed in 1965, the CSI has been instrumental in guiding the Indian IT industry down the right path since its formative years. Today, the CSI has 73 chapters all over India, over 500 student branches, and more than 100000 members including India’s most famous IT industry leaders, brilliant scientists and dedicated academicians.
The mission of the CSI is to facilitate research, knowledge sharing, learning and career enhancement for all categories of IT professionals, while simultaneously inspiring and nurturing new entrants into the industry and helping them to integrate into the IT community. The CSI is also working closely with other industry associations, government bodies and academia to ensure that the benefits of IT advancement ultimately percolate down to every single citizen of India.
About CSI Stanley Student Branch
Stanley College of Engineering & Technology for Women became an Institutional Member of Computer Society of India in the year 2015 and the CSI Stanley Student Branch was born on 11th March 2015 under Region V. The chapter was inaugurated by Dr. V Anandam, Professor in Department of CSE, Vardhaman College of Engineering, Hyderabad in the presence of K Krishna Rao, Correspondent, Dr. V Anuradha, Director, Dr. A V N Krishna, Professor in CSE, Prof. Devasish Pal, HOD CSE and Dr. A Kanakadurga, HOD IT of our college.
Dr. V Anandam enlightened the students with the current technology trends, CSI Student Branch Culture, Quiz & Project Competitions, various national & international seminars, job scenario in IT and also informed about the importance of Computer Society of India Student Branch in Education field.
On this auspicious day of inauguration Dr. V Anandam has announced the office bearers of CSI Stanley Student Branch of our college.
